Mark Calls For Spirituality Against Boko Haram

Senate President, David Mark, on Wednesday called on Nigerians to turn

to God as the only way out of the protracted battle against the Boko

Haram insurgency.

The senate President also called on Nigerians to pray for other

political and economic problems confronting the country in general,

ThisDay reports.



The clergyman assured that his prayer group came together with the

mission to pray to God to end the issues of insecurity, corruption and

unemployment in the country.



"We have come together to raise our voices to God. The future belongs

to young people and as youths by implication, we are praying for

ourselves too,"he said.

It would be recalled that David Mark, the Senate President, raised the

alarm over Monday's failed attempt by Boko Haramterrorists to seize

the Yobe State Government House in Damaturu.



Meanwhile, over 100 people reportedly lost their lives following the

recent attackscarried out by members of the relentless terrorist

group, Boko Haram in two North-Eastern states of Borno and Yobe on

Monday.
